Danielle Thomassy, LCSW, CAP, CCTP

Clinical Director

Danielle Thomassy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addiction Professional, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Danielle earned her Master of Social Work degree from Florida Atlantic University and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Florida State University. She has extensive experience in leading clinical programs and interdisciplinary teams. In addition to being the clinical director of The Wellness Program, Danielle owns a private practice in the Tampa Bay area. Danielle has extensive advanced training in EMDR and is EMDRIA Certified in EMDR. Additionally, Danielle is formally trained in Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which she incorporates into her therapeutic practice with clients. The approach Danielle takes to working with her clients is anchored in empathy, honesty, and targeting the root cause of complex emotional, physical, and physiological pain. Danielle's focus in therapy is on the person, not the pathology.

Demian F. Obregon, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Obregon trained at Tulane University and the University of South Florida. He is dual board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Obregon has broad training in child, adolescent, and adult interventional psychiatry since 2008.  He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. His experience includes inpatient, residential, and outpatient psychiatry with a focus on treatment-resistant disorders. Dr. Obregon employs individualized approaches integrating psychiatry, psychotherapy, medicine, genetics, exercise, and nutrition with a focus on health and wellness.

Emma Geisdorf, LMHC

Emma Geisdorf is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Florida and her Master’s in Science from Pratt Institute, with a specialization in creative arts therapy. Emma is passionate about restoring emotional, physical, and physiological wellness.  Emma’s creative and flexible approach to clients makes her an extraordinarily diverse clinician. She uses creative movement, art-making, and musical expression as therapeutic mediums, which allows for flexibility in sessions where words are not always necessary.

Krista Miles Honor, LMHC, E-RYT, QS

Krista Honor is a seasoned Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Tampa, Florida, with over a decade of enriching experience in the behavioral health field. Her expertise spans diverse settings, including baker act receiving facilities, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs, community outpatient programs, and private practice. Krista earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Leo University and further pursued her passion by obtaining a Master's in Counselor Education, concentrating in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. She is a certified Clinical Trauma Professional, has over 500 hours of training as a therapeutic and trauma-informed yoga teacher, and received her Level 1 Integral Sound Healing certification in early 2022. Her dedication to comprehensive well-being and holistic healing practices underscores her commitment to offering innovative and effective therapeutic modalities.

Bridget Brown, ARPN

Medical Provider

Bridget is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Bachelor's in Nursing and her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Promotion from the University of Oklahoma. Upon graduation, she worked as an ER nurse for over six years. She pursued her Master's in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, and has been working in psychiatry, alongside Dr. Obregon ever since. Bridget has a passion for health and a heart for helping others. It is her joy and honor to support individuals on their journey toward better physical and mental health. When Bridget is not working, she spends her time with the people she loves most: her four beautiful children and husband of 12 years. She’s passionate about being outdoors, traveling, exercise, and attending church.

Danielle Angellakis, LCSW, C-DBT

Danielle Angellakis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Andrews University. Danielle uses a combination of somatic therapies, behavioral interventions, and EMDR therapy to promote the gentle release of trauma from the mind and body. She works with her clients by utilizing a body-based, nervous system-informed approach to determine what is causing the emotions, pain, and struggle that bring her clients therapy.

Sharalyn Vester, LMHC, C-DBT

Clinician

Sharalyn Vester is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist. She received her Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Southeastern University. Sharalyn specializes in assisting adolescents and young adults who have a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, panic disorders, relationship and self-esteem issues, and mood and personality disorders. She also works with couples and families and has experience in crisis intervention, emotional dysregulation, clinically complex cases, and severe trauma. Sharalyn practices a variety of evidence-based clinical approaches targeted to her clients' needs. She often uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and art therapy. Sharalyn is passionate about helping others accomplish their goals and meets clients where they are. She will work with you to identify your strengths and learn how to advocate for yourself to overcome life's challenges and achieve the highest quality of life possible.
